Graveside service for Winona Condra, 103, of Dallas, previously of Cleburne, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 14, 2022, in Rosehill Cemetery. Reverend Ken Coleman will officiate. Please feel free to come by and sign her book at the funeral home.

Winona passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in Carrollton. She was born May 4, 1919, in Alvarado, Texas to Waymon and Susan (Wilson) Waddell. Her family moved to Brownfield, Texas in 1926. She moved to Dallas in 1939 and attended Draughon’s Business College. She was employed at Hensley Air Force Base and the V.A. until 1947 when she married M.V. “Tobe” Condra on July 4, 1947 in Dallas. They lived in Vernon, Texas until 1952, then moved to Cleburne. Both had been members of First Christian Church in Cleburne. Mrs. Condra retired in 1985 as a clerk for Santa Fe Railroad after 22 years of service. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family first.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Joe Sulc of Dallas; granddaughters, Amanda Sulc of Dallas and Emily Mosby and husband William, of Madison, MS; nephew, Waymon Banks of Dallas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, M.V. “Tobe” Condra on October 28, 1999; her parents; sister, Faye Banks; brothers, Archie Waddell and J.W. Waddell; nephews, Mike Waddell and Danny Waddell.
