William Rodriguez

Service for William T. Rodriguez, 66, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 28, 2021, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Chaplain Eddy Carrell will officiate. Burial to follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at the Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Steven Bailey, Jacob Bailey, Eric Gonzales, Gavin Gonzales, Luis Garcia, and David Davis.

William passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, in Cleburne. He was born June 18, 1955, in San Diego, Texas to Martin Saldana and Felipa Trevino Rodriguez. He married Elisa Sue Jones on April 25, 1975, in Glen Rose, Texas. He was of the Catholic faith. William worked for DPC Industries in the shipping department. He was an avid Texas sports fan, especially a Dallas Cowboy fan and a collector of gadgets of all kinds. “Papaw” kept the family together, enjoying gatherings and visiting with everyone. He was giving of his time, love, and met everyone’s needs as best as he could. His loving nature and quiet spirit will be missed greatly.

William is survived by the love of his life, wife, Elisa Rodriguez; mother, Felipa Rodriguez; children, Willie Rodriguez and wife, Felecia, Paul Rodriguez and wife, Misty, Misti Woods and husband, Ben; grandchildren, Leslie Hight, Jarett Rodriguez, Matt Hight, Sydney Barnes, Jesse Marchman, Tristan Rodriguez, Jaxon Rodriguez, Kendyl Cochran, Jordyn Rodriguez, Meela Woods, and Benji Woods; great-grandchildren, Amiya Hight and Ambrose Barnes; siblings, Martin “Taco” Rodriguez and wife, Sharla, Nelda Rodriguez Garcia, Letty Steele and husband, Rocky, Ester Rios and husband, Jimmy, and Rachael Chavez and husband, Hugo; along with nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father; sister, Rosie Morales; and brother, Noel Rodriguez.
