William "Bill" Brown

William "Bill" Brown, a beloved resident of Cleburne, and a cherished member of the community, passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on September 25, 1951, in Cleburne, Texas, Bill lived a life true to his spirit, embracing every moment with authenticity and passion.

Bill was known to many as “Silver Fox,” a nickname that aptly captured both his distinguished presence and his vibrant personality. He had a particular love for bird hunting, an activity that brought him immense joy and fulfillment throughout his life. This passion for the outdoors was matched only by his affection for his pets, who were not merely animals but cherished companions in his journey.

Following in his parents’ footsteps Bill became a graduate and an avid supporter of The University of Texas at Austin, Bill exhibited a prideful dedication to the Longhorns, embodying the spirit of camaraderie and enthusiasm that marked his fanhood. His loyalty to his team was unwavering, reflecting the zest with which he approached all aspects of life.

Beyond his interests and hobbies, Bill was a devoted uncle, establishing strong bonds with his family that enriched his life and those of his loved ones. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his legacy remains in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lallah Rhook Brown.

Bill is survived by his siblings, Betty Conner and husband, Ernest and Deborah Diamond and husband, Donald and very dedicated nieces and nephews.

Bill's journey through life was characterized by his unique ability to live on his own terms, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. His family and friends will remember him not only for his passions but for the warmth and kindness he shared with all.
