Wayne Behymer

Services for Wayne E. Behymer, 81, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 13, 2021, at Lane Prairie Baptist Church. Pastor Ricky Fuchs will officiate. Interment will be in DFW National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne funeral home.

Wayne passed away Monday, August 9, 2021, in Cleburne. He was born December 29, 1939, in Pasadena, California to Chester Wayne and Bonnie Della Proudfoot Behymer. He married Clara Dee on February 14, 2004 and was a member of Lane Baptist Church. Wayne served in the United States Air National Guard with 34 years of service. He retired as Master Sergeant.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Clara Dee; children, Ruth Price and Rick, Roger Behymer and Loree, Debbie Keeble and John, Jamie Monk and Kevin, Christopher Simmons and Millie; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; sister, Delta Stearman; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Wayne is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Rose Behymer.
