Wanda Anderson

Service for Wanda Elaine Anderson, 65, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 6, 2023, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel, with Dr. Gary Ward officiating. Graveside service will be held at 2:15 P.M., Monday, November 6, 2023 in DFW National Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 3:00-5:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers are Michael Steele, Matthew Steele, Joshua Steele, Ron Berryman, Russell Berryman, and Koy Steele.

Wanda passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 in Cleburne. She was born August 21, 1958 in Great Falls, Montana to Gene Edward and Edna Lucille (Phelps) Berryman. Wanda worked at Coleman Elementary as the Cafeteria Manager for 30 years. She worked with amazing people that felt like family! Wanda married Marcus William Anderson on July 4, 2002 in Granbury. She attended Tate Springs Baptist Church in Arlington. Her passion in life was her family and attending her grandkids’ school activities. She was fun loving and giving of all her talents and resources. She had a smile that lit up any room she entered. Wanda enjoyed traveling. She was supportive and encouraging to all she knew and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Steele and his wife, Dana, Matthew Steele, and Joshua Steele and his wife, Laura; grandchildren, Koy Steele, Katelyn Steele, Kinley Steele, Allie Steele, Abbie Steele, Ansley Steele, Brittani Polk, Madyson Carter, and Caleb Wright; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ron Berryman and his wife, Michele, and Russell Berryman and his wife, Chris; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Marcus William Anderson in 2006.
