A funeral service for Vicki Ann (Gardner) Warenskjold, 85, of Cleburne, will be held at 11:00 AM on, Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Westhill Church of Christ, 1100 W Westhill Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033, with Elder Russell Crook officiating. Interment will take place at 9:30 AM, June 13, 2025 in the DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211 with family serving as pallbearers. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to service at the Westhill Church of Christ. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association and to The Bridge in lieu of floral tributes for the service.
Vicki Ann Warenskjold, born on July 22, 1939, in Cleburne, Texas, passed away peacefully in her hometown on June 5, 2025. Vicki was a beloved member of her community and was cherished by those who knew her.
She was not only devoted to her family but also to her community. She found great fulfillment in her work at the food bank, where she dedicated herself to serving others. Her love for her church was evident in all she did, providing her with a strong sense of purpose and connection. Vicki treasured watching her grandkids and great-grandkids and family participate in various school activities, always cheering them on with pride.
Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Louie Cutbert Gardner and Anita Louise Bostwick, her spouse Otto McKee Warenskjold, Jr. her son Otto McKee Warenskjold, III, and her brother Morris Lee Gardner and his wife Shirley.
She is survived by her children, Anthony "Tony" Warenskjold and his wife Denice, LouAnn Potter and her husband Patrick, and Christy L. Warenskjold; grandchildren, Stephenie Saville and her husband Nolan, and Heather McDonald and her husband Kevin; great-grandchildren Michael Saville, Braiden Saville, Savannah McDonald, and Daniel McDonald; siblings, Billy Dan Warenskjold and his wife Heidi, and Sue Ann Trammell and her husband Jimmie and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vicki Ann Warenskjold's legacy of love, service, and commitment to her family and community will be fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
