Venita Moore

Service for Venita Joyce Moore, 86, of Burleson will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 23, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson-Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be private in Cleburne Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the funeral home.

Venita passed away June 20, 2023 in Burleson. She was born September 13, 1936 to Horace Hobson and Lela Mae Matthews Quattlebaum. She married Ross Wayne Moore on July 17, 1953 in Cleburne. He preceded her in death. Venita was a bookkeeper and a member of Nolan River Baptist Church.

Venita is survived by sons, Kenny Moore and wife, Cheryl of Fort Worth and Steven Ray Moore and wife, Cherilyn of Cleburne; daughters, Glenda Salmon and husband, Brett of Ooltewah, Tennessee, Ronda Gregory and husband, J.R. of Burleson; sister, Lenora Hughes of Grandview; 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Nolan River Baptist Church in Cleburne.
