Valerie Oldham

On May 16, 2022, Valerie Lynn Oldham passed away in Ft. Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, after a long history of illness at the age of 81 years. She was born March 3, 1941.

Mrs. Oldham is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L.J. Oldham; her parents, Ila G. Bryant and Wayland Bryant; her father, Rembert Helms; her brothers, Dwayne Bryant, Harold Bryant, and Gerald Bryant; and grandson, Corey P. Cooper.

She is survived by her sister, Justene DeCosta of Rocklin, California; her children, Thomas L.J. (Jeff) Oldham II and wife, Denise Oldham, of Cleburne, Texas; Lynn J. Hundley and husband, Richard “Chip” Hundley, of Whitney, Texas; Dennis M. (Skipper) Oldham and wife, Tami Oldham, of Burleson, Texas; and Mandi R. Oldham of Burleson, Texas.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Thomas L.J. Oldham III of Cleburne, Texas; Jeannie L. Marino and husband, Adrian Marino, of Whitney, Texas; Raymond Watson and wife, Laurie Watson, of Whitney, Texas; Justin R. Cooper of Irving, Texas; Caitlyn P. Cooper of Cushing, Texas; Michael Raif and wife, Ashley Raif, of China Spring, Texas; Chad Hundley and wife, Anna Hundley, of Norfolk, Virginia; Jacob Watters and wife, Rachael Watters, of Ft. Worth, Texas; Samantha Luna and husband, Gabe Luna, of Ft. Worth, Texas; Casey Watters of Burleson, Texas; Gracie G. Johnson of Burleson, Texas; Destiny Nix and husband, Seth Nix, of Alvarado, Texas; and, Cassidy Gibson and husband, Layne Gibson, of Alvarado, Texas. Also surviving her are her great-grandchildren, Conner Marino, Ian Marino, Hunter Watson, Kannon Watson, Fisher Watson, Mason Raif, Colton Raif, Ayden Watters, Summer Watters, Leo Michael Luna, Emersyn Watters, Jordan Watters, Kynlee Watters, Blakelie Nix, Carson Nix, Braxton Gibson, Colson Gibson, and many cousins and friends.


Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Crosier Pearson Cleburne Chapel, 512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033 at 1:00 P.M., Friday, June 3, 2022.
