Tommy Lillard

Service for Tommy P. Lillard, 76, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 17, 2011 in the First United Methodist Church. The Reverend Robert Herzig will officiate, assisted by the Reverend John Glover. Pallbearers will be Kelly Lillard, Patrick Lillard, Gary Graff, Jeff Gilliam, Harlow Wood, David Wood and Dwayne Hatcher. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Frank Jones, Charles Stricklin, George Davis, George Davis, Jr. and Tripp Davis. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mr. Lillard passed away Monday, February 14, 2011 in Ft. Worth. He was born April 20, 1934 in Kopperl to T.K. and Ada Phinney Lillard. He married Mary Graff on Nov. 21, 1959 in Cleburne.

Mr. Lillard served in the United States Army and retired from the shipping department at Miller Brewing Company. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Tommy Lillard is survived by his wife of more than 51 years, Mary Lillard of Cleburne; brother, Gary Lillard and wife Patricia and one sister, Patsy Lillard, all of Cleburne; three nephews, Patrick Lillard of Austin, Kelly Lillard and Gary Graff and wife Teresa, all of Cleburne; niece, Tara Gilliam and husband Jeff of Bono; brother-in-law, Don Graff and wife Brenda and one aunt, Louise Lillard, all of Cleburne. He was preceded in death by his parents and one uncle, R.M. Lillard.
