A graveside service for Timothy Paul Carlson, 56, of Rio Vista, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Grange Hall Cemetery in Rio Vista, Texas.

Timothy Paul Carlson, a beloved son, father, grandparent, and friend, passed away on December 22, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on September 26, 1969, in Cleburne, Texas, he grew up in Rio Vista, where he attended local schools and developed a passion for the outdoors, which would stay with him throughout his life.

Timothy was a true gentleman and a jack of all trades, known for his skills as an auto mechanic. His love for fishing and hunting reflected his deeply held appreciation for nature and the great outdoors. He treasured the time spent at the river, where many cherished memories were made, surrounded by family and friends. He was always willing to lend a hand to others, showcasing a spirit of generosity that endeared him to all who knew him.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Wayne Carlson.

He is survived by his son, Hunter Carlson and his wife Mel; his daughter, Hannah Chillinsky and her husband Julian; grandchildren, Hazel Chillinsky, Saige Chillinsky, and Wesley Carlson; his mother, Glenda Capps Edens; his sisters, Jill Carlson and Amy Kendrick; his nephew, J.J. Kendrick; nieces, Jennifer Dean, A'lisa Kendrick, and Kaylee Kendrick; and great nephews and nieces, Karter Atutis and Stella Holland. 

Timothy Paul Carlson's memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends, who remember him as a loving and devoted individual.
