Thomas Cash

Service for Thomas Green Cash, 77, of Grandview will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, February 6, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Stanley Lohse will officiate. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M., Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 at Paradise Cemetery in Paradise, TX. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M.-10:30 A.M., Thursday, prior to the service.

Mr. Cash passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 in Ft. Worth. He was born July 4, 1936 in Fort Worth to Clarence Marlin, Sr. and Mary Matilda Barnett Cash.

Mr. Cash worked for the Fort Worth ISD and retired as a master plumber. He was an avid gardener and loved to play dominos. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Cleburne and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his long-time companions of eight years, Billie and Sassy Muse of Burleson; foster daughter, Robin Holland of Cleburne; sisters, Lucille Coursey of Bridgeport, Matilda Newton and husband Lewis of Bridgeport and Cleola Green and husband Dwight of Dallas; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, C.M. Cash Jr. and Harold Ray Cash; and a sister, Nellie Nichles.
