Stephen P. Boyd passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, in Elm Mott. He was born on February 5, 1975, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Stephen’s journey began in the heart of Arkansas, where family values, humor, and a steadfast devotion to those he loved shaped the man he became. His years in Pine Bluff nurtured his passion for sports especially as a fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and a dedicated fan of the Texas Rangers. Whether cheering on his teams or surrounded by friends and family during game days, Stephen’s enthusiasm was infectious and memorable.

A proud military veteran, Stephen served with honor in the United States Navy Seabees for four years. His time in the service reflected his deep commitment to his country and his strong sense of duty. Stephen was also a proud lifetime member of the Masonic Border Lodge in Texarkana, TX.

Stephen was known as a loving and devoted husband and father, roles he treasured above all else. Family meant everything to him, and he found joy in every shared moment. Those who knew him best remember his warmth, unwavering support, and knack for lightening any mood with a well-timed joke. His sense of humor was central to his personality, making every gathering brighter.

A true family man, Stephen was deeply proud of the life he built with those he loved. He carried himself with kindness, loyalty, and a playful spirit that endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on through the relationships he cherished and the memories he created.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter P. and Claudia Boyd.

Stephen is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lori Boyd; daughter Josie Marie Boyd and many other family members and friends.

Stephen will be deeply missed, but his love, laughter, and devotion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
