Stephen Birchfield

Stephen L. Birchfield, Sr. ,75, of Cleburne, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 in Cleburne. He was born October 10, 1948 in Arlington to Raymond Wesley and Vera Arlee (Seiber) Birchfield. Stephen married Janice Elaine Shreeve Morgan on June 3, 1973 in Cleburne. He was a musician that excelled playing many instruments primarily the guitar. Stephen enjoyed Jazz, Blues and Honkey Tonk music. He was also a wheat farmer, philosopher, and scholar.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Janice Morgan; son, Stephen Birchfield, Jr.; sister, Peggy Pirkle and numerous nieces, nephews, cousin, and other relatives.

Stephen is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dennis Birchfield, Jack Birchfield and sister, Bonnie Parnell.
