Shirley Kirkpatrick

Shirley Lancaster Kirkpatrick, 87, of Cleburne passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 in Cleburne. She was born October 6, 1935 to James and Delma (Gunn) Lancaster. Shirley was a junior high English teacher for Refugio ISD. Later she became a realtor. She was a private lady, who enjoyed playing Bridge and was an avid reader. Shirley had a passion for the written word. She researched and wrote many articles, as well as a screen play, and book. She was also very internet savvy. She will be missed greatly.

Shirley is survived by her children, Alan Kirkpatrick and wife, Margaret, Karen Kirkpatrick and Scott Kirkpatrick and wife, Tina; 5 grandsons; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Jimmie Mobley; 1 niece and 1 nephew.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents.

A private service will be held at a later date.
