Shirley Hestilow

Services for Shirley A. Hestilow, 84, of Cleburne, will be conducted Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Keith Whitt will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Shirley Hestilow passed away Monday, September 16 in Cleburne. She was born June 1, 1935 in Cleburne to Henry Dewey and Willie Mae (Stephens) Germany. She married Richard Hestilow on February 8, 1951. He preceded her in death on December 23, 1987. Mrs. Hestilow was a pharmacy tech by profession.

She was a member of North Cleburne Baptist Church. Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother, who was known for her beautiful smile. She enjoyed family gatherings, shopping and watching the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Myers, Vicki Moore and husband Glenn, and LaWanna Bradshaw; son, Richard Hestilow, Jr. and wife Kathy Bennett; grandchildren, Michelle Morales, Steven Myers and wife Crystal, Stephanie Conner, Misty Bagby and husband Greg, Amy Malone and husband Robert, Brandye Shaw and husband A.J., Ashley Mullins and husband Lee, Brittani Pierce and husband David, and Brian Hughes; 19 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; best friend of 80 years, Laverne Huffman; and sister-in-law, Rosie Hestilow.

She was also preceded by her parents, her brother H.D., son-in-law, Glenn Myers and grandson Kenneth McCowen, Jr.
