Shirley Eastus

Service for Shirley Sain Eastus, 75, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 15, 2014 in the Calvary Baptist Church. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate, assisted by the Reverend Brooks Monk. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the church.

Mrs. Eastus passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in Cleburne. She was born August 19, 1938 in Weatherford to John Carl and Rose Currington Bowman. She married De Armond Sain on December 31, 1956 in Weatherford and he preceded her in death on August 13, 1993. She then married Roy Eastus on April 23, 1999 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Eastus was a homemaker and previously worked at Walls Outlet Store. She was a member of the Golden Needles Quilters Club and was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Eastus; children, Cindy Morrison and husband Jacky and Danny Sain and wife Jacqui; stepchildren, Angela Bakke and husband Mike and Gregg Eastus and wife Paige; six grandchildren; siblings, Nancy Sullivan, Charlotte Bowman, Chester Bowman and wife Brenda, Charles Lee Wright and wife Kelly, and Martha Sandlin and husband Larry; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
