A celebration of life for Sherry Ann (Martin) Ledbetter, 78, of Cleburne will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Calvary Baptist Church of Grandview, located at 101 West Main Street, Grandview, TX 76050 with Pastor Todd Ledbetter officiating.
Sherry Ann Ledbetter, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2026, in Cleburne, TX. She was born on October 1, 1947, in Cleburne.
Sherry's journey began in her hometown, where she created many fond memories and formed lifelong friendships. From a young age, she displayed an undeniable zest for life. Growing up, she found joy and accomplishment through athletics. A state champion in softball, Sherry embodied both teamwork and competitive spirit. Her love for sports extended far beyond her youth, as she enjoyed golf, football, and was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan. Her adventurous spirit made her a thrill-seeker at heart, always open to new experiences and excitement. She was a devout Christian and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Grandview.
A devoted mother and beloved "MeMe," Sherry's deep commitment to her children and grandchildren was apparent in every facet of her life. She was actively involved with her family, offering unwavering support and boundless love. Her warmth and generosity shaped countless cherished moments and memories.
Sherry dedicated her professional life serving Johnson County as a clerk and a bookkeeper in accounting and an accounts payable specialist. Her diligence, integrity, and attention to detail earned her the admiration of colleagues and members of the community alike. Sherry's contributions to her workplace were marked by her steadfast commitment and pride in her work.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Hutto; granddaughter, Amber Ledbetter; parents, Arval Yancy Martin, Jr. and Annie "Ann" Mae (Grisby) Martin; brother, Steven Martin, and son-in-law, Mark Reynolds.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Robert Ledbetter; daughters, Tricia Reynolds, Christi Martindale & her husband, Brian, and Dawn Acker; sons, Barry Ledbetter & his wife, Kathleen, Todd Ledbetter & his wife, Charla; Jim Bob Ledbetter & his wife, Samantha, Matt Ledbetter & his wife, Emily; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister Kay Harris & her husband, Steve, and extended family members.
