Sandi Wall Ramsey, 79, of Cleburne, Texas, passed away on February 8, 2026, in the city she called home. A future Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Sandi was a vibrant, outspoken, and deeply loving woman whose presence filled every room she entered. She was a devoted wife, an adoring mother, a proud “Gran Gran,” and a loyal friend to many.

Funny, candid, generous, and fiercely caring, Sandi had an extraordinary gift for storytelling—especially when recalling childhood memories. Her stories often left everyone around her laughing until they cried. Everything she did came from a place of love, and her intentions were always pure. She never meant to hurt anyone and cared deeply for those around her.

More than anything, Sandi loved her family. She was her children’s biggest fan, their constant advocate, and their safe place. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love, and she nurtured not only her children but everyone fortunate enough to be welcomed into her life.

In her later years, Sandi faced adversity that slowed her physically, but never in spirit. Even when it was painful or difficult, she tried her hardest to show up for the people she loved—traveling when it hurt and pushing through discomfort to be present with her children, whether to support them during illness or to celebrate their happiest moments.

Sandi expressed her love through food and togetherness. She was especially known for her cooking—most famously her chicken and dumplings and chicken fried steak—and her baking was equally cherished. Family gatherings brought her great joy, and her table was always a place of comfort and connection.

A woman of strong faith, Sandi was an active member of her church. Her beliefs guided her life and shaped the way she treated others, grounding her devotion to family, service, and love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Wanda Wall.

Sandi is survived by her loving husband, Bill Ramsey, her devoted partner of 27 years; her children, Israel Jovanovich and wife Danielle, Amanda Frueh and husband Steven, and Abigail Parker and husband Steven; her beloved grandchildren, Harrison Frueh and wife Kylie, Holden Frueh and wife Emily, Annabeth Frueh, and Addie Parker; and her siblings, Lynn Martin and Betsy Bigham—who affectionately called her “Uno,” the firstborn daughter and forever the most beloved—along with numerous relatives and friends who were blessed to know her.

Sandi Wall Ramsey will be remembered for her fierce love, unforgettable laughter, unwavering generosity, and the countless ways she showed up for the people she loved. Her legacy lives on through her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
