Samuel Greer

Samuel Leon Greer passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023, at his place of residence in Sherman, Tx. with his significant other Nancy, her daughter, and son-in-law at his side. He was born September 5, 1932, in
Sadler, Tx. Leon was a Christian and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist church in Sherman, Tx. He retired from Motheral Printing Company and was the owner of a number of printing businesses in Ft. Worth and Cleburne, Tx. Leon was a successful businessman and a wonderful caring person. He was also a Mason. Leon will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his significant other Nancy Johnson from Sherman, Tx. daughters Cindy Caltagirone and Christi Simpson; six grandchildren, Martin Griffith III, Jerrett Greer, Travis Pope, Leah Pope, Cole Simpson, and Audrey Simpson; one great grandchild, Jace Greer; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Leon was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, son Jamie, daughter Debbie, and mother, Ruth Lovejoy Greer.
