Russell Jenkins

Memorial Service for Russell L. Jenkins, 51, of Cleburne will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Grandview Civic Center.

Russell passed away July 26, 2021, in Fort Worth. He was born July 18,1970 in Whitney to Glenn Russell and Althea May (Braswell) Jenkins. Russell worked for Black Hawk Transportation as a truck driver for over 20 years. Russell enjoyed fishing, camping and the outdoors. He was the ultimate storyteller and jokester. He has been described as having the gift of making everyone laugh. Russell believed in having the survival skills in case of need and shared his thoughts about it.

Russell is survived by his mother, Althea May Jenkins; children, Stephanie Warner and son-in-law Ronnie, Brayden, Scarlett, and Hydie Jenkins; 3 grandchildren, Ebony, Elisabeth, Tray and Liam who is on the way; siblings, Dewayne Jenkins, Kie Jenkins, Hazel Nickell; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Glenn Russell Jenkins.
