Services for Ruby (Nancy) Fuller Johnson, 81, of Arlington, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 5415 Matlock Road, Arlington, Texas 76018 with Dr. Tim Fuller, Pastor Dwight McKissic and Reverend Cecil Cornelius officiating. Interment will be at 1:30 P.M., June 13, 2024, in DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 5-7:00 P.M., in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Serving as pallbearers are Brian Chandler, Christian Fuller, Jeremy Fuller, William Fuller, Jr., Ardie Phillips, and Kaden Smith.

Nancy passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024 in Arlington. She was born November 3, 1942 in Cleburne, Texas to John Otto and Wynell Juanita Wideman Fuller. Nancy married Gus Mullin Johnson on January 1, 1966 in Cleburne, Texas. They were married 38 beautiful years before his passing in March 2004.  She was a loving wife and mother.

As a youth and into adulthood, Nancy was an active member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Cleburne led by Reverend C.D. McAdoo. She later became a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington with Pastor Dwight McKissic. 

Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Cleburne. She was later active in the Booker T. Washington Alumni Association where she served as President. She continued her education and graduated from Texas College in 1964 with a degree in Education and was a member of the Alumni Association. 

Nancy worked as a teacher at Alvarado High School, then as a supervisor at Rocky Mountain Bank Note Company. She was Chapter President and Regional Officer of Eta Phi Beta Sorority where she was committed to the Eta Phi Beta motto “Not for ourselves, but for others.”

Nancy was an avid sports fan of the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and was a Dallas Wings season ticket holder. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. 

Nancy is survived by her son, Trevor Johnson; brothers, Michael Fuller, Anthony Fuller and William Fuller; sisters, Frances Hafford, Kay Fuller and Shelia Fuller; grandchildren, Kabree Johnson, and Kyndall Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kavonni Kunhiyop, Kassidy Kunhiyop, and Kimaree Kunhiyop; nieces, Cheri, Tura, and Renata; nephews, Courtney, Tim, Brian, Adrian, Jeremy (Bubba), William Jr., and Ardie.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, John Roy Fuller and Hershell (Beaver) Fuller, sister, Peggy Berry and nephews, Stephen Hafford and Malon Fuller.
