Ruby Carrell

Graveside service for Ruby Lee Carrell, 88, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 3, 2022, in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00-1:30 P.M., prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ruby passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, in Cleburne. She was born August 30, 1934, in Umpire, Arkansas to Otis and Mildred Cartwright Davis. She married Frank Carrell on June 18, 1955, in Glen Rose.
Ruby loved the outdoors and her farm animals. She especially enjoyed raising cattle and being a woman rancher!

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Frank Carrell; her parents, and two brothers, Virgle and Glen Davis.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Francine Lankford; son, Frank Carrell Jr., granddaughter, LaDonna Carrell; sister, Bonnie Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
