Ruben Yanes

Ruben Yanes, 65, of Cleburne passed away on February 6, 2023, in Cleburne. He was born February 11, 1958, in Temple.

Ruben was authentic, fearless, and independent, always doing things “His Way”. He played sports of all kinds with his family in his younger years. He loved to cliff dive and swim. Ruben enjoyed socializing and drinking along with lots of laughter. He was always working on something out of curiosity.

Ruben is survived by his mother, Mary Jimenez; daughter, Monica Arriola; son, Gabriel Yanes; grandchildren, Andrew Rivera, Krystani Arriola, Nicholas Yanes, and Jenna Yanes; siblings, Suzanne Valdez, Sylvia Manriquez, Pauline Manriquez, Chon Manriquez, Michelle (Kevin)Davis and Tim (Diana) Jimenez; 16 nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Mario Jimenez, daughter, Rubina Yanes, grandson, Isaac Rivera, and brother, Mike Manriquez, Jr.
