Roy Lee Robinson passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026. He was born on October 5, 1942, in Walnut Springs, Texas, to Edith Leona (Hadley) Robinson and Modell Robinson.

Roy cherished time spent with his large family, especially the close bond he shared with his eight brothers and one sister. Roy was deeply devoted to each of them and shared a special and enduring connection. Whether working side by side, gathering with family, or simply enjoying each other's company, the bond they shared was marked by love and loyalty.

Roy married Johnnie Robinson in 1991. Together they combined their families and shared 35 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on faith, family, and service to others. Among Roy's greatest blessings were his children. He loved them deeply and took immense pride in the people they became. Their accomplishments, character, and the lives they built brought him great joy throughout his life.

Roy dedicated 34 years and 7 months of service to General Motors before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, raising cattle, playing “42”, listening to gospel music, and gathering to hear his brothers play music. Roy is also known for his daily phone calls to check on loved ones, and his genuine interest in the lives of those around him.

A man of strong faith, Roy was passionate about sharing the Gospel and investing in the lives of young people whether through Little League, FFA, or ministry. Roy & Johnnie loved traveling and taking road trips with Donnie & Glenda, as well as David and Paula – getting to see things they wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Roy's life was a testament to faith, family, and service. Roy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Edith Leona (Hadley) Robinson & Modell Robinson; his daughter, Rhonda Adcock; his son-in-law, Steven Steele; his brothers, Donald Robinson and Melvin Robinson; and his sisters, Nona Valero and Flossie Robinson.
