A private family gathering will be held in remembrance of Ronnie Allen Shaw, 74, of Grandview, Texas.
Ronnie passed away peacefully at his home in Grandview on Sunday, July 27, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on November 8, 1950, in Cleburne, Texas, to Clifford “C.O.” and Lomega “Nan” Davis Shaw. Baptized in the Baptist faith as a child, Ronnie later served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era, discharging as a Specialist Four (SP4).
Over the years, Ronnie worked in the automobile industry, especially in paint and bodywork and sales. He spent over 30 years with Michelle “Shelley” Onnen before her passing in May 2024.
Ronnie was known for his strong will, competitive spirit, and sharp wit. His clever sayings and memorable phrases brought smiles and laughter to those around him. A talented dart thrower in his younger days, Ronnie also had a generous heart—always willing to share his time, talents, and resources. He loved being outdoors, especially when fishing, and cherished time spent with his family above all else. Every conversation with loved ones ended the same way—with “I love you”—words his family and friends will forever treasure.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford “C.O.” and Lomega “Nan” Davis Shaw; his beloved wife, Michelle “Shelley” Onnen; sisters, Nelda Meador and Kim Shaw; and brothers, Donald Shaw and Kenny Shaw.
He is survived by his children and their spouses: Gina & Bart Basham, Donnie & Kris Shaw, and Kelsey & Jody Martin; his grandchildren and their spouses: Kalani & Cole Thornton, Hannah & Dakota Massey, Ryan Shaw, Jaxon Shaw, Dylan Belhen, Brady Martin, and Kolt Martin; great-grandchildren: Kinser Thornton, Brecken Massey, Bentleigh Massey, and Berklee Massey; brothers and sister-in-law: Jerry & Dreama Shaw and Ricky Shaw; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
