A celebration of life service for Ronnie Neil Rice of Cleburne will be held on September 2, 2025, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas, beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Tate Barone, Todd Hardin, Trey Hardin, Caleb Rice, Faith Rice, and Dwayne Roderick. Visitation will be conducted on Monday, September 1, 2025, from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Ronnie leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and devotion that will endure in the hearts of all who knew him. Ronnie Neil Rice, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on August 26, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas, at the age of 75. Born on November 30, 1949, in Clarksville, Texas, Ronnie’s life was a testament to his unwavering faith in God and deep devotion to his family.
A proud husband, Ronnie shared a loving 56-year marriage with his wife, Debbie Rice. Together, they built a family that continued to thrive under the warmth and guidance he provided. Ronnie is survived by his son, Roy Rice, and wife, Tracie; daughter, Robin Hardin, and husband, Jason. He was a proud grandfather to Tate Barone and wife, Jessica, Todd Hardin, Trey Hardin, Caleb Rice, and Faith Rice, and extended his love and joy to his granddaughter-in-love, Shelbi Hardin. His heart swelled with pride for his great-granddaughter, Emma Hardin, the next generation of his family, whom he cherished deeply.Ronnie was known for his vibrant personality; his smile would light up any room, and he had an incredible ability to make friends wherever he went, never meeting a stranger. This warmth and openness were evident as Ronnie maintained close relationships with his siblings, including sisters Margaret York and Anita Silvers, as well as his sister-in-law, Betty Rice. Ronnie also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends who will surely miss his presence.He had a profound passion for the University of Texas Longhorns, demonstrating his fierce dedication as an avid fan. His interests extended beyond the field, as he provided love and support to his family, ensuring they always felt cherished.Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Violet Rice, along with his sister, Christine Rice, and brother, Doyle Rice. Their memories will forever remain a part of his legacy.
