A funeral service for Ronnie Allen Bourg, 60, of Rio Vista, will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, located at 512 N. Ridgeway Drive, Cleburne, Texas 76033 with Mr. Mike Acker officiating. Interment will follow in the Grange Hall Cemetery, Rio Vista with Tobi Bourgea, Brandon Bourg, Stuart Bourg, Blake Bourg, Brody Bourg, Michael Fiorenza serving as pallbearers and Colby Bourg as honorary pallbearer. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Ronnie Allen Bourg, born on July 20, 1965, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on October 10, 2025, in Burleson, Texas. He was a man of immense warmth and joy, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by his family and friends.
Ronnie's life was marked by his passionate love for OU football and a particular fondness for Mexican food. Described as someone you would hear before you saw him, his vibrant personality was always a source of laughter and light to those around him. Whether he was on his tractor or watching a football game, Ronnie always embraced life with enthusiasm, making those moments enjoyable for everyone. He had a special bond with his daughter, Leslie, and his grandson, Quade, both of whom brought great joy to his life. His beloved dog, Ellie Mae, was also a cherished companion, adding to the warmth of his home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Garland Bourg, and his nephew, Colby Bourg.
Ronnie is survived by his mother, Sue Bourg; daughter, Leslie Bourgea and husband Tobi; grandchildren, Quade Allen Bourgea; brothers, Garland Bourg and wife Tammy, Randy Bourg; nephews, Brandon Bourg, Stuart Bourg, Matthew Bourg, Blake Bourg, Brody Bourg; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ronnie Allen Bourg will be dearly missed and forever remembered for his loving spirit and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him.
