Ronnie Hasty passed away on Tuesday, January 20,2026 in Fort Worth. He was born on June 28,1951 in Meridian, Texas. He married the love of his life, Dianne Bullard on January 19,1972 in Cleburne, Texas. He held on to spend their 54th wedding anniversary together before passing the next day. His medical staff were in awe of witnessing such a love. Ronnie was a member of the Triple Cross Cowboy Church and retired after over 30 years with the Santa Fe Railroad as an Engineer. Ronnie was known as “Mr. CHS” when in school. It has been said that everyone loved him and he was a people magnet, never having met a stranger. Ronnie’s fun-loving spirit and ability to tell a great story made him the life of the party. He enjoyed roping, fishing, hunting, dancing, water skiing and later in life, playing 42 (dominoes) and chasing grandkids. He might have needed a wheelchair and some assistance, but he was going to be at basketball, football games, rodeo or anything else to route for his grandkids. Above, all things, Ronnie was a family man. He was devoted to his family and active in all their lives. His love of family echoes throughout his children and grandchildren, profoundly impacting each of their lives. Ronnie will be missed beyond measure. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Leon Hasty and Hettie Mae Billings Hasty, and siblings, Donnie Hasty, Johnny Hasty, and Gail Gibbs.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Dianne Hasty; daughter, Tori Procter & her husband, Jason; son, Cody Hasty; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Hasty; grandchildren, Tylee Jo Procter, Whit Procter, Brynn Hasty, Brett Hasty, Bristol Hasty, and Beckham Hasty; sisters, Judy Sims and Barbara Rhone; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and good friends.
