Graveside service for Robert J. “Bob” Yarbrough, 95, of Cleburne will be conducted at 12:00 P.M., Friday, October 29, 2021, in Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the funeral home.
Bob passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021, in Cleburne. He was born January 23, 1926, in Dallas, Texas to Thad and Mable Bourn Yarbrough. Bob married Syble Jean Vent on March 17, 1956, in Mesquite, Texas. He was of the Baptist faith. Bob served in the United State Navy during WWII in Korea. He retired with General Motors after 31 years of service. Bob was a simple but hardworking man who enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and football. He enjoyed square dancing and did so for fifteen years of his life.
Bob is survived by his wife of 65 years, Syble Yarbrough; children, Phyllis Ziebarth and Mike Yarbrough; grandchildren, Justin and David Ziebarth; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Reverend George Yarbrough; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and five siblings.
