A funeral service for Robert Gordon Webb, 75, of Cleburne, will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel located at 512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033. Interment will follow in the Brazos Point Cemetery with Donnie Adair, Curtis Pruitt, Robert Adair, Milton McComas, Walter Webb, Bradley Polson, Robert Norris and Zachary Norris serving as pallbearers. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home on Monday, June 8, 2026. Meal to follow at 2:00 PM at the American Legion Post 50 located at 313 W. Chambers St., Cleburne, TX 76033. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Brazos Point Cemetery Association in lieu of floral tributes for the service.
Robert Webb, born on May 16, 1951, in Cleburne, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, in Jonesboro, Texas. Robert was a lifetime member of the Sons of the American Legion. His contributions and involvement in this respected organization were a significant part of his identity and legacy.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Calvin Webb and Verlie Anner (Williams) Webb; brothers Clyde Leon Webb, Raymond Webb, Randolph Webb, John Calvin Webb, and Donald Webb; sisters, Lilly Baker, Kathleen Berry, and Vergie Burnett; grandchildren, Chad Richardson, Gage Westbrook, and Braden Avery.
He is survived by his sons, Joe Webb & his wife, Abigal of Jonesboro, Will Maples & his wife, Karen of Burleson, and Michael Maples & his wife, Candy of Rio Vista; daughter, Donna Avery of Cleburne; sisters, Sharlene Crisp, Guelda Johnson, and Nona Polson; longtime companion of 34 years, Linda Webb of Cleburne; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Robert Webb’s life remains a beacon of devotion—to his family and community. Those who had the privilege of knowing him will remember his steadfast spirit and the profound warmth he shared with all who were fortunate to cross his path.
