A graveside service for Robert “Robby” Vick Sandefur, 80, of Cleburne, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Rosehill Cemetery, located at 960 E. Second Street, Cleburne, Texas 76031.

Robert “Robby” Sandefur, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on June 3, 2026, in Cleburne, Texas. He was born on November 15, 1945, in Stamford, Texas.

Robby lived a life marked by devotion to his family, deep faith in the Lord, and a strong work ethic. A lifelong farmer, he spent his years working the family farm alongside his father, Robert Vick Sandefur Sr., carrying on a legacy of hard work, perseverance, and love for the land. Farming was more than his livelihood, it was a way of life that reflected his commitment to family, responsibility, and stewardship.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Vick Sandefur Sr. and Melba Sandefur, and his daughter, Robbin Wester.

Robby is survived by his wife of 35 years, Suzan Sandefur; children, Chanda Shelton and her husband Robert, Kristen Bayless and her husband Matthew, Britt McGee and her husband Brandon, Brent Sandefur and his wife Krystal, Pam Blackmon and her husband Jason, and Liana York and her husband Jason; grandchildren, Peyton, Paxton, Parker, Allie, Abigail, Jackson, Braxton, Karsyn, Mykha, Charlie, Lane, Campbell, Briggs, Jase, Emma, Kohen, Briar, Aaron, Haley, Mason, Briana, Jada, Sam, and Austyn; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Robby’s legacy is one of steadfast love, unwavering dedication to family, and a willingness to help anyone in need. He never hesitated to lend a hand, offer encouragement, or stand beside those he loved during life’s challenges.

A devoted Christian, Robby loved the Lord and found strength and peace in his faith. He often reminded his children that this life is only temporary and encouraged them to keep their eyes on Jesus and their hearts focused on eternity. His faith was not only something he spoke about, but something he lived each day.

One of the phrases he often shared with Suzan and his family was, “As long as we stick together, we can do anything.” Those words became a foundation for the family he loved so deeply and will continue to serve as a reminder of the strength found in love, unity, and faith.

While his presence will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that his eternal hope has become sight and that he is now home with the Lord he faithfully loved.
