A graveside service for Robert E. "Bob" Kelley, Jr., 76, of Alvarado, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in the Rosehill Cemetery located at 405 Waters St., Cleburne, Texas 76033. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association in lieu of floral tributes for the service.

Robert E. "Bob" Kelley, Jr. passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, in Keene, Texas. He was born on October 12, 1949. Bob married Peggy, the love of his life, on August 20, 1971, sharing nearly 55 years of a devoted partnership.

His service to the country was marked proudly as an A&P Mechanic and Jet Engine Mechanic with the United States Navy Air Reserves in Grand Prairie, Texas. His career later flourished in the aviation industry with Braniff Airlines, before he returned to the family plumbing supply business. Bob's expertise and leadership eventually led him to Apex Supply Company, where he served as General Manager, and later, to Economy Supply Company in Fort Worth.

A man of steadfast Christian faith, Bob's life was a testament to dedication and love for his family and community.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Kelley Sr. and Nancy Jane (Brown) Kelley.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy; brother, Michael J. Kelley; and a host of other friends.
