A graveside service for Robert E. “Bob” Kelley, Jr., 76, of Alvarado, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in the Rosehill Cemetery located at 405 Watters St., Cleburne, Texas 76033. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association in lieu of floral tributes for the service.

Bob married the love of his life, Peggy, on August 20, 1971. Peggy and Bob spent 54 years and 10 months together.

Bob served in the United States Navy Air Reserves at Grand Prairie, Texas. He was an A&P Mechanic and Jet Engine Mechanic in the Navy. He was also a maintenance technician for Braniff Airlines at Love Field for a few years until he returned to his father’s plumbing supply business and later joined Apex Supply Company to become their General Manager and later work in Fort Worth at Economy Supply Company. He was of the Christian faith.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Kelley Sr. and Nancy Jane (Brown) Kelley.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy; brother, Michael J. Kelley; and a host of other friends.
