A funeral service for Robbie Francis, 85, of Granbury, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Granbury Church of Christ, located at 1905 West Pearl Street, Granbury, Texas 76048 with Minister Chris Frizzell officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Hills Memorial Park, Granbury with Bill Hunn, Larry Cole, Phil Moore, Oliver Bodden, Daniel Francis, and Larry Forbes serving as pallbearers. There will be a time of visitation prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at the church. 

Robbie Lynn (Alkire) Francis, 85, of Granbury, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2026, surrounded by her loving husband and children.

Robbie was born April 30, 1941, in El Paso, Texas, to Wayne and Bernice Alkire. She was married to Dan G. Francis for 53 years and was a devoted mother, grandmother of 15, and great-grandmother of 28.

She will be remembered for her strong Christian faith, kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion to her family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Greathouse; her parents, Wayne and Bernice Alkire; and her brother, Melvin Alkire.

Robbie is survived by her husband, Dan; her children Kathy Forbes and husband Larry, Camille Aylesworth, Stephen Greathouse, Daniel Francis, Mark Francis, and Arlie Francis; and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
