Ricky Peikoff

Ricky Lee Peikoff was born on May 4, 1957, to Tommy and Patsy Peikoff of Alvarado, Texas. There will be a public visitation from 9:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M., Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the funeral home. There will be a private family burial.

Ricky grew up on the family farm where he learned about agriculture, hard work, and the importance of family. He devoted his entire life to farming and ranching the beloved family “home place” alongside his grandfather, Nick, Uncle Bill, father, Tommy, and brother, Nicky. He enjoyed gardening, listening to music, laughing with friends, his many beloved dogs and reminiscing of his Mama and Grandma and their wonderful home cooked meals. He was a tireless farmer until his death on January 13, 2022.

Ricky is survived by his brother, Nicky Peikoff and wife, Carla, sister, Debra Meier and husband, Kim; nieces, Julianna Meier-Leonard, Elizabethanne Grisham, Abby Walraven and, Brooke Rich, nephew, Josh Reynolds; and his dogs, Texanne & Beaudina.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to the Johnson County Meals on Wheels in Ricky’s honor.
