Richard Borisenko

A celebration of life service will be held for Richard Borisenko, 72, at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Friendship Baptist Church in Cleburne.

Richard Borisenko passed away at his home on Sunday, May 22, 2022. He was born the son of Alex and Pearl Irene Sibary Borisenko on November 12, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan. Richard spent the last 12 years with the love of his life, Laurie Ferrando Scott, and celebrated their union with church family and friends on May 6, 2022 in Cleburne. Richard was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he was a devoted servant. His pastor even called him an evangelist. Richard retired last October from operating his business, Richard’s Home Repairs, where he served clients for over 20 years. It has been said that he was larger than life, forever the jokester and fun-loving man. He kept you on your toes and laughter in your heart. He was giving and had a great love for people. Richard could often be found at events such as car shows or fishing and hunting. His love of life and generous nature will be missed greatly. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and a sister.

Survivors include his wife, Laurie Scott; children, Ron, Jon, and Shelley; step daughter, Brandy Johnson; grandchildren, Alexis and Jason; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
