Service for Reva Florene Nanny Bryan, 98, of Spur, but formerly from Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Friday, February 14, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the funeral home.
Reva Florene Bryan passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 in Crosbyton. She was born Nov. 1, 1915 in Hamlin, TX to Marion Albert and Ida DLilah Davis Moore. She married Willis Alfred Fred Bryan and he preceded her in death on June 23, 1982.
Mrs. Bryan worked at Montgomery Ward for several years and retired from Johnson County Memorial Hospital where she worked in administration. She was an outgoing, independent lady who enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. She loved quilting, quilt shows, and to cross-stitch. She was an avid doll collector who made countless sets of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, among other types of hand-made dolls. She was also an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. Mrs. Bryan was a member of Field Street Baptist Church in Cleburne. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her grandchildren: Brian Cox and wife Amanda, Lori Walsh and husband Mike, Susan Ingram and husband Mike, Joe McDonald and Jordan Brasier; several great grandchildren, including, Erin Cox, Jacob Howard, Patricia Howard, and CheyAnn, Michala and Colton Ingram; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her children: Albert Cox, Shirlene McDonald, and Reva Brasier; and three sisters.
