Pura Josefina Kerbow

Service for Pura Josefina Kerbow, 92, of Keene, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 9, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Father Sergio Rizo will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
Pura Josefina Kerbow passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in Keene. She was born December 8, 1925 in Valle de Pascua, Venezuela to José and Josefa Diaz Vila. She married Bennett Allen Kerbow on April 23, 1948 and he preceded her in death on December 31, 2001, after 53 years of marriage. Through his work with John Deere, She had the opportunity to live and travel throughout the world. Upon his retirement in 1984, the Kerbows settled in Joshua to be near their children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Kerbow was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her son, Joe B. and wife Maria Kerbow of Benbrook; daughter, Amy Heaton and husband Rick of Joshua; grandchildren, Scott Heaton and wife Taylor, Patrick Heaton, Justin Kerbow and wife Christa, Bennett Kerbow and Gregory Kerbow; great grandchildren, Molly, Cooper, Cory, and Cecily; brother-in-law, Odis Doyce Kerbow and wife Theola; and sister-in-law, Doris Kerbow. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
