Service for Phyllis Ann (Rust) May, 73, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 16, 2024, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend James Curry and Dr. Robert Riza will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 5-7:00 P.M., on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the funeral home.

Phyllis Ann Rust May passed away on May 10, 2024. in Fort Worth. She was the widow of Earl Wayne May. They shared 37 years of marriage together.

Phyllis was born in Cleburne Texas on June 18, 1950 to Benjamin “Ben” and Alma “Peyton” (Tollison) Rust. She attended Cleburne High School. She was a legal secretary for local offices and a homemaker.

She was a woman of faith and was a member of Living Water Missionary Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her generosity, her cards and afghans.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Dr. Robert Riza and his wife, Cobette, Jeff Riza and fiancée, Kathryn Lucko, Andrew May and Amanda May; grandchildren, Justin Youngblood and wife, Valerie, Bobby Riza and wife, Haleigh, Cassidy Driskell and husband, Dillon and Hunter Riza and fiancée, Megan Lacy. Phyllis was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Colton, Killian, and Adalynn. She will be missed by nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
