Phyllis Jean Mullins, born on March 22, 1939, in Jenkins, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on December 12, 2024, in Alvarado, Texas. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Phyllis leaves behind a profound legacy of love and compassion that touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved sons, Kelvin Mullins, Steven Mullins, and Danny Mullins; daughters, Glenda Parker and Wanda Qualls; and brother, Robert Mullins. Her family continues to cherish the memories of her kindness and warmth. Phyllis was also a proud grandmother to Phillip, Joshua, Tyler, Brandon, Ricky, Doug, Chad, Michael, Gene, and Danny, Glorina Clark, Anya Baker, Travis Mullins as well as a loving great-grandmother to Felicia, Logan, Waylon, Kirby, Kennedy, Easton, Quentin, Alex, James, Cody, Lily, Michael, and Samuel. Each of her family members held a special place in her heart, and they will forever remember her unwavering support and affection.
Phyllis Jean Mullins was not only a devoted family woman but also a woman of strong faith who loved attending church. She enjoyed visiting yard sales, where she would often find treasures, and had a zest for life that was highlighted by her love for roller skating. These passions painted a picture of a vibrant and engaging individual who embraced the joys of life.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Quentin Mullins; her daughter Anita Sifford; her sister, Mary Gellois; her brothers, Douglas Mullins; and J.R. Powers. Though she has departed from this world, the love she gave and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
A visitation will be held in her honor on December 21, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home, located at 512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel.
Phyllis Jean Mullins's life was a testament to love, faith, and cherished family bonds. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
