Philip Ross Interrante, 75, of Denton, Texas, passed away on July 26, 2023. He was born on November 8, 1947, in Dallas, Texas. Philip's earthly life was once prosperous and enviable. He managed his limitations with resilience and found happiness in his large North Texas farm, his herd of donkeys, and the unwavering support of his family and Church. Having served in Vietnam, he cherished each day as a blessing.

Philip's educational journey included Bryan High School and El Centro College in Dallas. He had a distinguished military career, serving as a Wireman in the United States Army in Vietnam until an injury ceased his ability to serve. Recipient of National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter, Vietnam Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal, Philip received an Honorable Discharge for his dedication and commitment. Philip was later granted further disability for Agent Orange exposure. Following his military service, Philip pursued a career as a Machinist, later working for the US Postal Service. He was known for his strong work ethic and was meticulous in his efforts. Philip found solace and strength in his faith, worshiping at the Catholic church. It provided him with a sense of community, and he contributed generously. Philip loved providing his homegrown elephant garlic for the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Homemade Sausage Fundraiser in Muenster, Texas.

In his leisure time, Philip enjoyed tending to his garden and spending time with his beloved donkeys. He was an avid learner and often could be found reading quietly or computer researching in the Saint Jo or Denton Library.

Philip is survived by son, Zachary Blace Interrante and partner, Crystal Richardson; grandbaby, Adelina Marie Interrante; daughter, Annyssa Marie Interrante; former wife, Karen Gould Interrante, and many Interrante family members in the DFW area. He was preceded in death by his parents, Blace Interrante and Bruna Josephine Panizzi Interrante.

Philip Interrante will be remembered for his resilience, unwavering spirit, and the love he had for his family, animals, and community. He leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be held close to the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Memorial Donations, in the name of Philip Ross Interrante, to any of the many organizations helping Veterans with PTSD and Agent Orange exposure would be appreciated by the family.
