Pedro Arrey Gomez

A Celebration of Life will be held for Pete Arrey Gomez, 88, of Cleburne, at 5:00 PM, with the visitation from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, located at 512 N. Ridgeway Drive, Cleburne, Texas 76033 on Saturday January 17, 2026 where family and friends have the opportunity to gather for fellowship, pay respects and share memories with one another. He passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, in Cleburne, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and passion for life.

Pete found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a remarkable talent for bowling, achieving semi-professional status that showcased his dedication and skill. Whether at the lanes or out in nature, he embraced his love for fishing, finding tranquility in the serenity of the water. Alongside these hobbies, he held a deep affection for animals, a testament to his kind-hearted nature. 

As a loving husband and father, Pete nurtured his family with warmth and devotion. His presence in their lives is cherished, and the memories they created together will forever be held dear.

Pete is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro & Juanita Gomez, wife, Betty Jean Gomez, son, Andrew Gomez.

Survivors include his children, Lisa Gomez & husband, Loretta "Lorie" Gomez & husband, Peter Gomez, Halonna Star Morris and multiple grandchildren, friends and other relatives.

Pete Arrey Gomez's life was marked by his passions, his love for his family, and a profound respect for the world around him. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
