Patricia "Pat" Ann Stone, born on August 21, 1946, in Sherman, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, in Alvarado. She was a woman of remarkable strength and character, remembered fondly by all who knew her for her warmth, compassion, and devotion to her family.

Pat was known as a good cook whose meals brought loved ones together and as a patient listener who offered comfort and understanding in times of need. Above all, she cherished her husband, Donald Stone, with a love that stood as the cornerstone of her life. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren, whose accomplishments and happiness she celebrated with a full heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James William Barnes and Thelma Mae Wilson; son, Bryan Stone; four brothers and one sister. 

Pat is survived by her beloved husband, Donald Stone; daughter, Stacey Stone; and grandchildren, Kristen Good, Britany Owens, River Stone, Donald Stone, and Allyson Stone; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters. 

Patricia "Pat" Ann Stone lived a life defined by love, resilience, and dedication to those she held dear. She will be deeply missed and forever honored in the hearts of her family and friends.
