Otto McKee Warenskjold

Service for Otto McKee Warenskjold, Jr., 87, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 3, 2024 in Westhill Church of Christ in Cleburne. Burial will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 5, 2024 in DFW National Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, February 2, 2024 at the funeral home.

Otto passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 in Fort Worth. He was born August 26, 1936 in Cleburne. He married Vicki Ann Gardner on March 13, 1959 in Cleburne. Otto liked to watch football but was an avid wrestling fan. He was very involved with his church and played an instrumental role in Westhill Church of Christ community outreach program “The Bridge”. He was involved with the prison ministry program as well.

Otto is survived by his wife, Vicki Ann Warenskjold; children, Anthony “Tony” Warenskjold & wife, Denice, Lou Ann Potter & husband, Patrick, Christy L. Warenskjold; grandchildren, Stephenie Saville & husband, Nolan, Heather McDonald & husband, Kevin; great-grandchildren, Michael Saville, Braiden Saville, Savannah McDonald, Daniel McDonald; siblings, Billy Dan Warenskjold & wife, Heidi, Sue Ann Trammell & husband, Jimmie; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and relatives.

Otto is preceded in death by his parents, Otto McKee Sr. and Clarice (Beck) Warenskjold and son, Otto McKee Warenskjold III.
