A graveside service Oma Lou (Drinnon) Morgan, 90, of Cleburne, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2026 in the Price's Chapel Cemetery with John Long, Sr, John Long, Jr., Eric Godfrey, Luke Godfrey, Cade Godfrey, David Sitler, Bryce Sitler and Daniel Perkins, Jr. serving as pallbearers and Monroe Clinton Long and as honorary pallbearer.
Oma Lou Morgan, a devoted follower of Christ, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, in Cleburne, Texas. She was born on January 22, 1936, in Milburn, Oklahoma, and throughout her long and meaningful life, she touched many hearts with her warmth and steadfast spirit.
Oma’s journey began in Milburn, OK. Her story is one marked by resilience, quiet strength, and enduring grace. As a beloved member of her family, Oma’s legacy lies in the lives she supported and the countless moments of generosity and compassion she shared.
Oma was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William B. Morgan; parents, Lou Charles and Willie Drinnon; sisters, Louise Freeman, Edna Heddlesten, Marthie Martin, and brother, William Drinnon.
She is survived by her children, Monroe Clinton Long & his wife, Sandra, Rebecca Ann Long, John Long, Sr. & his wife, Julie; grandchildren, Rachel Sitler & her husband, David; Jennifer Godfrey & her husband, Eric, John Long, Jr. & his wife, Krista; great-grandchildren, Grace Sitler, Bryce Sitler, Luke Godfrey, Cade Godfrey, and Mady Godfrey; great-grandchild, Hunter, and brother, Billy Drinnon & his wife Linda.
Oma Lou Morgan’s legacy is one of love and dignity. Even as she departs, her spirit endures in the memories and hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
