Nancy Lynn Groves was born on November 3, 1949, in Houston, Texas, to Bennie and Estelle Judice. She passed away peacefully on October 23, 2026, in Godley, Texas, surrounded by her family.

Nancy married Kevin P. Groves on July 1, 1983. They shared 43 years of marriage, building a life together filled with love and family.

Nancy was a faithful Christian who loved studying the Bible. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she did her best to live it every day. She was devoted to her husband and family and worked hard to be the best wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother she could be. She loved her family unconditionally and made sure they knew it.

Nancy also had a wonderful outlook on life. Even when she was dealing with illness, if someone asked her how she was doing, her answer was almost always, “I am blessed, I am healed by the stripes of Jesus!” That was Nancy. Her faith ran deep and she had a way of looking on the bright side, even when things were difficult.

Her family will miss her dearly, but they will always carry with them the love she gave, the faith she lived by, and the example she set for all of them. Nancy leaves behind a family who was blessed to have her and who will never forget her.

She will be missed and loved always.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bennie Judice, and her parents, David & Estelle Bowen.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin; her daughter, Tami Schult; and her son, Todd Kercheval, and his wife, Carly, of Georgetown, Texas. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Wyatt Schult and his wife, Allee, of Austin, Texas, and Shyann Thomas and her husband, Craig, of Gallatin, Tennessee. Her great-grandchildren are Donnie Riggins Schult, Reed Walker Schult. Marian Ruth Thomas, and LeeRoy David Thomas. She is also survived by her sister, Brenda Gullet and her husband Bob, of Arkansas.
