Memorial Service for Morman Poat Pruitt, Jr., 67, of Burleson will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Larry Whitehead will officiate.

Morman passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 in Hill County. He was born May 21, 1954 in San Antonio to Morman Poat, Sr. and Novella Hernandez Pruitt. Morman married Melissa Ann Plumlee on July 5, 1974 in Covington. He was a machinist for BNSF Railroad for 35 years. Morman was a member of First Baptist Church of Covington.

Morman is survived by his wife of 47 years, Melissa Pruitt of Burleson; children, Wesley Scott Pruitt of Spokane, Washington; Amy Corine Grafa and husband Jacob of Burleson; grandchildren, Keagen Pruitt, Haley Pruitt, Jensen Grafa, Alexis Grafa; sister, Helen McKnight and husband Leo; brother, Robert Tellez; sister, Violet Pruitt; sister, June Whitehead and husband Larry and numerous nieces and nephews.

Morman is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
