Misty Dawn Watson

Celebration of Life Services for Misty Dawn Watson, 43, of Keene, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 30, 2026 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, located at 512 N. Ridgeway Drive, Cleburne, Texas with Pastor Peggy Everett officiating. There will be a time of visitation for those able to attend and fellowship with the family from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026 also in the chapel.

Misty Dawn Watson passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 in Keene, Texas. She was born on February 16, 1983 in Bakersfield, California. Misty was of Pentecostal faith. She worked as a Med-tech and Caretaker for a number of years, where her nurturing tendencies shown brightest. It has been said that Misty was extremely family oriented and was giving to all around her. Her caring nature touched countless lives in her 43 years. She could often be found with either an ice-cold Dr. Pepper or a Strawberry Lime-aide in hand watching a true crime story or listening to country music. Misty will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Misty is preceded in death by her daughter, Kaylee Watson; father, Lonnie Watson; maternal grandparents, Otis & Lemandy Followill; and paternal grandparents, Kenny & Dorothy Watson.

Survivors include her son, Kaden Watson; parents, Dewanah & Ricky Vassar; siblings, John Stubblefield & wife, Shelly, Anita Pantoja & husband, Rick, Lonnie Watson, Kassie Johnson & husband, Billy, Ricky Vassar, II. & wife, Stephanie, Matthew Vassar & wife, Kelly, and Mandy Vassar & husband, Micheal; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
