A graveside service for Marguerite Jane Patillo Johnson, 87, of Cleburne, will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in the Rio Vista Cemetery with Jackie Meers officiating. There will be an open visitation from 9:00 - 4:00 PM on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home located at 512 N. Ridgeway Drive, Cleburne, Texas 76033. The family request that memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in lieu of floral tributes for the service.
"Mimi" Jane Johnson, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, in Cleburne, Texas. Born on February 14, 1939, in Fort Worth, Texas, Mimi was known for her outgoing personality and her ability to make friends easily throughout her life.
She dedicated herself to her family, actively participating in their lives and creating cherished memories that will be treasured by all who knew her. Mimi had a passion for crafting, often spending her time sewing and crocheting beautiful items. In addition to these hobbies, she enjoyed exploring her creativity through painting, finding joy in expressing herself artistically.
"Mimi" was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Johnson, and her daughter-in-law, Mary Kay Johnson.
She is survived by her son, Timothy Johnson, and her daughter, Glenda Buchanan and her husband, Wayne; her grandchildren, Jason Gentry and his wife Shellie, Rebecca Gour and her husband Ashley, and Martha Volker; her great-grandchildren, Julien Gentry, Emma Gentry, Miles Gentry, Hayden Gour, Bridget Gour, Maddex Gour, and Lance Volker.
"Mimi" Jane Johnson will be fondly remembered for her warm spirit, love of family, and the indelible imprint she left on the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
