An open visitation for Mildred will be 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday, September 26, 2025 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home, 512 North Ridgeway, Cleburne, Texas

Mildred F. Lee, born on May 14, 1939, in San Angelo, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, in Granbury, Texas. She was 86 years old.

Mildred lived a life marked by unwavering devotion to her family, embodying the qualities of love, support, and nurturing that make family bonds so precious. Her commitment to her loved ones was a guiding force throughout her life, and she will be remembered fondly for the warmth and kindness she brought to each relationship.

In addition to her deep familial connections, Mildred had a passionate interest in studying genealogy. She dedicated time and energy to exploring her family's history, uncovering stories of her ancestors, and sharing the rich tapestry of her heritage with her family. This pursuit not only fulfilled her personally but also served to strengthen the bonds within her family, as she delighted in sharing her discoveries and weaving them into the fabric of their shared history.

Mildred is preceded in death by, her parents, James E. Cole and Ruth L. (Malone) Cole; husband, James Arthur Lee; son, Christopher Lee.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Kara Saunders & husband Keith; grandchildren, Kollin Saunders, Kasen Saunders, Kyle Saunders, & wife Ava, Kaleb Saunders & wife Emmy and great-grandchildren, Cody Saunders and Jacob Saunders.

Mildred Lee leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will be cherished as a testament to the importance of family and the joy of understanding one’s roots.
