Mike Woodard

Service for Mike Woodard, 69, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 16, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Jim Cox will officiate. Burial will follow in Rio Vista Cemetery.

Mike passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in Fort Worth. He was born January 28, 1954 in Cleburne. Mike married Joyce Elaine Peugh on July 5, 1979 in Cleburne. He worked for Walls Industries for 8 years, Santa Fe Railroad 8 years and TX Department of Transportation for 25 years. Mike was a member of Parker Church of Christ.

Mike is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elaine Woodard of Rio Vista; daughter, Heather Rockwell and husband Casey of Roseville, California; sister Donna Hanson of Cleburne; grandchildren, Dillon Dixon Petty Officer 2nd Class USN and wife Milly of Norfolk Virginia, Gabriel Michael Rockwell and Elizabeth Ruth Rockwell of Roseville, California; great-grandchildren, Meisha Kay Dixon and Mina Rose Dixon of Norfolk, Viginia; and mother, Dawn Finnell of Cleburne.
